The Foster Family would like to invite you to Kassidy's Rock Star Invitational.
Virginia Techniques Gymnastics Booster Club is proud to host Kassidy's Rock Star Invitational on February 2-3, 2008. Our awesome meet will impress you with great hospitality, timely rotations, a relaxed atmosphere, custom theme-based individual and team awards, and gifts for all competitors. We're excited to make every gymnast a "Rock Star" during our 2nd annual competition.
Our competition is in honor and memory of Kassidy Foster, our friend and fellow gymnast. Kassidy, a 12-year-old level 7 gymnast, passed away on July 16, 2007 after battling osteosarcoma. Kassidy loved life and loved gymnastics. With a contagious smile, twinkling blue eyes and a sassy attitude, Kassidy lived up to her nickname "Sassy Kassy." While we're having a rockin' good time, we'll celebrate Kassidy's life.
Each team, gymnast, and/or coach is invited to participate in our rockin' karaoke contest at the end of each session (between last rotation and awards). The "Sassy Kassy" award will be given to the best performance after each session. Those that want to rip it up on the mic will be judged on costumes, lip synching and best overall performance. Bring your own music and keep each rockin' performance under two minutes.
